Alia Tabet ’09S (MBA), senior director of marketing for the National Football League, will discuss her career path since she left Simon, how the skills she learned during her MBA program have helped her advance to and succeed in her current role, and her insights on being a woman business leader in the sports marketing industry.

Alia lives in Los Angeles, California, and serves as senior director of marketing for the National Football League, overseeing partner marketing for 1200+ broadcast, cable, and digital partners for the NFL RedZone and NFL Network channels (YouTube TV, Comcast, Sling, etc.), a business worth $700M+ in annual revenue. She also manages NFL RedZone DTC acquisition and content marketing for NFLNetwork.com’s 160+ pages. Her prior roles at the NFL include: director of digital marketing, driving tune-in for the Network’s vast array of programming, including live games (Thursday Night Football), events (Super Bowl, Draft) and original content, as well as managing acquisition marketing for NFL mobile apps, games, and subscription products, including NFL Game Pass International.
Prior to the NFL, Alia worked for the National Basketball Association on digital product launches, marketing (International League Pass), and data and analytics for the NBA’s global markets. Her early career roles include story development for an Academy Award-winning producer and financial sales for JPMorgan Chase.
Alia got her MBA with concentrations in marketing and finance from Simon, where she was captain of the Simon soccer team, VP of the Graduate Business Council, and a member of the Simon tennis, entrepreneurship, and marketing clubs. Alia holds a BA in English and history from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
