Danielle Beyer ’06S (MBA), a principal in investor relations at Valor Equity Partners, will discuss her career path since she left Simon, how the skills she learned during her MBA program have helped her advance to and succeed in her current role, and her insights on being a woman business leader in the finance industry.

Prior to joining Valor in 2019, Danielle was chief executive officer of the New America Alliance (“NAA”), a national advocacy organization focused on access to investment capital. Prior to joining NAA, Danielle was with Mariner Investment Group, LLC, most recently as managing director and head of investor relations, where she focused on managing the firm’s institutional investor relationships. Prior to joining Mariner, Danielle was with NatCity Investments (now PNC), where she worked on M&A engagements and structured products.
Danielle earned an MBA from Simon Business School and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Rochester.
She is an active member of the University of Rochester and Simon Business School alumni communities and serves as a mentor for recent graduates. She advises entrepreneurs in the technology, media, and financial services sectors and serves on the CFP Board Diversity Advisory Group. She has been a member of the NAA since 2012 and serves on the organization's board of directors.
